Cotton Candy

It was love at first sight with this coat. The cotton candy pink color, the fuzzy texture, the boyfriend fit -I love it all! It's surprisingly warm, which is becoming necessary with these chilly Boston temperatures. Plus, it reminds of Celine's RTW Winter line, which is always a bonus.

Hope you guys have a great weekend & happy Friday!

So Cozy

I love absolutely everything about this scarf and I recommend it as a must-have for this fall/winter! The two reversible sides make it extra versatile -you get a neutral black & white option as well as a colored red & blue option. It is super soft and quite big, so you can wear it as a shawl or even use it as a makeshift blanket! Plus, plaid is majorly trending right now.

Beanie

Hey guys, sorry for the hiatus but I'm back! It's finally starting to get chilly and feel like fall, which means I get to start breaking out cozy accessories soon -cue this beanie! I love how it adds a fun pop of color as well as a casual element to an outfit.

Also, these pants! I've been spotting the jogger pant trend and decided to try it out for myself. My verdict: they're super comfy and I love their laid-back vibe. Plus you can dress them up like I did here with a silk shirt and some ladylike flats.

Happy Monday and hope you have a great week!

White Walls

This sweatshirt is easily one of my favorite finds of this past summer. The cutouts, embroidery and its stark white color are perfect. I paired it with this amazing statement necklace I borrowed from my sister and I am quite pleased with the result.

Hope you all have a great week!

Spots

I'm really milking these last few rays of sun -can't believe I'm wearing shorts in October! (But if you ask anyone who knows me well, I always err on the side of keeping cool because I get warm so easily!) I picked up this jacket last week from the H&M sale and it's the perfect transitioning piece. It's boxy fit is comfy and it's just warm enough to protect you from the light chills in the beginning of fall!

I also got this necklace last week in New York and I'm in love! It's simple and delicate, making it a great everyday piece. Plus the circle in the center is movable so you can adjust the lengths of the necklace in whichever way you want.

Clueless

The 90s are back this fall with plenty of plaid, floral, lace and grunge to go around (check out the fall collections for Saint Laurent and Louis Vuitton). When I saw this skirt at Zara, I immediately thought of Cher (of Clueless) and knew I had to have it. What better way to make a 90s throwback than through the ultimate 90s girl movie? Now if only I could get my hands on her virtual closet...

Boyfriend Shirt

Lately, I've been spotting a new trend: tying a shirt (usually plaid) around your waist. I'm especially loving this trend because it adds some depth to your outfit and you have a shirt handy if you get a little chilly. Plus, 90s plaid (think Cher circa the Clueless movie) is back. I found this perfect plaid flannel hidden in the back of my boyfriend's closet and "borrowed" it (forever). I decided to keep the rest of my outfit simple with a fitted black dress so things wouldn't be too bulky around my waist. These pictures were snapped last weekend during a brief spontaneous trip to Soho, NYC! I threw on my favorite Nike sneakers so my feet would survive a long day of roaming, shopping and eating.

Happy Monday!

LBD

Fall has officially arrived but I'm still trying to take advantage of these last few warm days of summer. This new LBD that I picked up last week is the perfect transition piece from summer to fall with its summery silhouette combined with a thicker fabric.

I decided to dress it up and take advantage of the sunny weather with some sandals and a statement necklace. But I also can't wait for it to get colder so I can wear this dress with some tights, boots and a flannel or cardigan thrown over it!
